THE WORK OF CHARLIE WHITNEY

Bio

Charlie Whitney is a senior software engineer with 20 years of experience who specializes in creating intuitive and user-friendly experiences. His practice focuses on integrating emerging technologies in new and unique ways, with the goal of inspiring joy and awe. As a generalist, he uses a wide variety of technologies not limited to C++, front-end web frameworks, python, Unity and other game engines, electrical engineering, and 3D design and fabrication.

Charlie was a co-founder of the studios Red Paper Heart and MTNGODS, as well as an inaugural member of the NEW INC program, and adjunct faculty at the Design and Technology Program at the New School in New York City. He is currently a Lead Creative Technologist at BUCK.

In his spare time, he maintains the open-source bike racing software SilverSprints and is currently writing a web app to unwrap 3D topology into paper patterns.
